Children’s Church

At Children’s Church, we have created an environment that is, safe, fun and engaging for our children.

Cradle Roll

A child’s journey begins at Baptism with the Cradle Roll.  As friends and members of Meadowood bring their little ones to be baptized, we celebrate by placing a lamb on the Cradle Roll Board to commemorate the day.  When the child reaches the age of three, we invite him or her to join Children’s Church.

Children’s Church

Using the Spark Lectionary Curriculum, children learn the same story as the congregation explores during worship. Children’s Church happens during the worship service. We break into groups and each class goes to learn about the story through games, arts and crafts, music, and other activities.  Our group of leaders are fun, helpful, and love spending time with our kids.

We endeavor to be a Children’s Church that is active in worship and in our community. We have opportunities for All Ages worship services where the children stay for the service and actively participate in worship. We also participate in Communion monthly, with children partaking of Communion at the open table, and there are always some children helping to serve as well. We participate in the community through various events during the year and share our work through bulletin board displays.
