2015 Vacation Bible School
G-Force was a fantastic success!
The 2015 VBS was a fun week full of games, songs, storytelling, crafts, science and snacks! We had a great group of kids and some dedicated helpers who turned the Fellowship Hall into a fun, exciting place to learn about how God lives, moves and exists within us all!
The week’s theme words were: Move, Act, Care, Follow and Share and each day as the kids learned about the theme, they loved to fill up the G-Force Power Meter and check in with Professor Voltz and Clipboard! Every morning, we started with an opening where our friend Checkers stopped by, and the kids loved to see him acting silly! We had a different Bible Storyteller every day who came and shared the day’s Bible Story with the kids. Then, we moved on to our different stations. Highlights from the Science station were making snow and the egg drop experiment. Crafts were iCare plant pots, bookmarks, painting and making skateboards and prayer boxes. Snacks included Cheetah Chow, rice krispie traffic lights and cars made out of apples and grapes! At the end of every day, we got back in a large group for games where we played with the parachute, had relay races and helped “care” for our friends.
All in all, the week was a great experience for kids and leaders alike!
