March 05/17 |

Sunday’s don’t count (in Lent).
Add up the days from Ash Wednesday to Easter Vigil (Saturday before Easter), 31 days of March, plus 15 days in April (this year), and you have 46 days.
Isn’t Lent supposed to be 40 days?
Ahh, but here’s the thing … Sundays are considered “The Lord’s Day,” celebrating Jesus’ resurrection. They are “little Easters.” So they are not included in the tally of Lenten days. They remain days of celebration and feasting, and are rest days from Lent discipline.
So today … there is no digital reflection in our series. So, just rejoice and be glad in the new life and Shared Home God is giving us today!
