Children, Youth & Family Ministry
At the United Church in Meadowood, we are committed to providing a safe, fun and engaging space for all children and youth to grow and learn about the ways of Jesus Christ. Our programs include all ages from birth to adulthood, as well as activities for families to take part in together. Our regular programs run from September through June, and we have a one week camp every summer.
All children, youth and families are welcome to take part in our programs at any time.
Children's Church
At UCiM Children's Church, we have created an environment that is safe, fun and engaging for all children. Zooming into Children's Church is a fun way to engage online with stories, crafts, and games while we stay safe at home. Talking Teens
Our youth group, the Talking Teens, meets every Sunday evening from 7-9pm via Zoom! We will have a worship time, chat and enjoy some fun online games. To get the Zoom links, please email Chelsea at teens@ucim.org.
Cradle Roll
Our Cradle Roll is made up of our youngest friends age 0-3, before they are ready to begin Children's Church. Birthday cards are sent to families and all are welcome to join us in our Lambs' corner in the MacAskill room every Sunday where there will be toys and books and a comfortable space for families to enjoy worship. When these friends turn 3, they can move up to our Children's Church programs, and we celebrate this with a special service every September.
Messy Church
Welcome to Messy Church where friends are family and all ages come together to share in fun, faith and food. Every month, we celebrate a new story in a messy way with crafts, science activities, games, sharing a meal and participating in an engaging worship. Come and join in the fun!
Camp Meadowood
Camp Meadowood is a great way for children to connect and learn during the summer months! Camp Meadowood is a full day camp held every August for kids ages 4-10. We spend the week learning about God through Bible stories, games, science and crafts as well as a yummy morning snack! Save the Date! Camp Meadowood will be back August 8-12, 2022.
