Rooms at UCiM are available to rent for meetings, workshops, dinners, celebrations, recitals and more. The building is fully accessible, with a flat entrance and wheelchair accessible washrooms and a gender neutral washroom.  There is parking for approximately 120 cars.  The kitchen and MacAskill room are air conditioned. 

The sanctuary and Fellowship Hall each accommodate 200 people and the lobby between them 150.  There is a moveable wall between the sanctuary/lobby and the Fellowship Hall. When this wall is removed up to 500 people can be accommodated in one space. The full kitchen which opens on to the Fellowship Hall.  Smaller meeting rooms can accommodate between 15 to 30 people. 

All renters are required to provide proof of third party liability insurance. 

Additional fees apply for set up, use of pianos and audio visual equipment and moving of the lobby wall, when required.

The Sanctuary can accommodate up to 200 people on padded chairs which can configured to meet the need. There is a baby grand piano. The sanctuary has great acoustics and is an excellent space for concerts and recitals. From the AV booth video can be projected onto 3 large screens.  There is a sound system and microphones available. Some rentals require hiring our AV tech.  We will assist with camera set up for livestreaming/recording but we do not offer those services.

The Fellowship is a large hall located adjacent to the sanctuary/lobby.  The room can accommodate up to 200 people. The use of folding banquet tables and chairs is provided with the cost of the room rental. The Fellowship Hall has an overhead projector. To use this, renters must provide their own laptop computer.

The kitchen is air conditioned and has an industrial dishwasher, two stoves, a commercial refrigerator and coffee urns.  There are dishes and cutlery for 200.  The cost of kitchen rental varies with amenities used.

The Lobby is the open space between the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. This space can accommodate up to 150 people on stackable chairs. The Lobby area can be utilized to expand the capacity of the Sanctuary or the Fellowship Hall. By removing the wall, we can accommodate up to 500 people in the combined space.

A great place for meetings and small workshops, the MacAskill Room can accommodate up to 30 people in air conditioned space. There is a large boardroom table (in 4 sections), a smart TV, and padded chairs. 

There are two small meeting rooms which can accommodate approximately 15 people each.

Additional charges apply for setup of tables/chairs, use of  pianos, audio visual equipment and moving the lobby wall.  Some rentals require paying for an event host and/or AV tech.

All renters are required to provide third party liability insurance. A damage deposit may be required.

GST is charged on all rental fees.
